  • Csaba Barta

    Chairman

    Csaba is a Finance professional with an investment banking, fund management and private equity background. He has many years of experience in the field of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, venture capital and private equity investing. Csaba’s wide-reaching and international commercial experience, coupled with personal passion, has led to Badur’s immersive and active approach to supporting charities and social enterprises – not just financially, but strategically and through advocacy and capacity support.

  • Judit Durst

    Trustee

    Judit holds a doctorate in sociology from Corvinus University Budapest, based on ethnographic research on social exclusion, ethnicity and reproductive decision-making among the Roma in segregated communities in Hungary. She is currently a research fellow at the Anthropology Department of University College London. She has published several book chapters and journal articles on poverty and ethnic minorities.

  • Daniel Hallgarten

    Trustee

    Daniel has a career spanning tax advisory, investment advisory and investment banking, working in both large and small organisations predominately in the private sector in the UK and EU. Outside of the corporate world he has a number of philanthropic interests and, in addition to The Badur Foundation, is a trustee of the Kadas Prize Foundation and the Anamax Charitable Foundation. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham.

  • Zsombor Barta

    Trustee

    Zsombor is the Founding Partner of the international sustainability consultancy company Greenbors Consulting Ltd. Further, he is a senior parliamentary advisor of the Hungarian National Council for Sustainable Development, responsible for international relations (EU, UN) and national sustainability issues. He is the current President of the Hungary Green Building Council (HuGBC). Zsombor has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since June 2013, leading RICS’s Sustainability Group in Hungary and has worked on various Green Building and sustainable urban development projects throughout Europe and Asia. He is the co-author of the Smart Budapest framework, the smart city document of the Hungarian capital.

  • Tehseen Overy

    Trustee

    Tehseen holds a degree in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science starting her career in the pharmaceutical industry. She switched focus to accountancy, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and has worked in the biotech, voluntary and family office sectors. Over the years she has helped establish a number of charitable organisations and assisted them in setting-up their financial reporting and governance procedures. Before becoming a Trustee, Tehseen supported the Foundation for a number of years.

  • Amy Harker

    Country Manager, UK

    Amy has spent over ten years working with the voluntary sector across education and social inclusion. Her experience includes programme development and management, impact, and stakeholder engagement, from shaping early ideas through to launching and expanding complex projects. She is also a school governor and volunteers locally.

  • Mari Jones

    Grants and Projects Officer

  • Erzsébet Gulyás

    Country Manager

    Erzsébet has 10+ years’ experience in local development. Her research and programme involvement has focused on place-making, social housing and energy poverty, social exclusion and education. She holds master degrees in Architecture, Design Management and Social Anthropology.

  • Anita Bartal

    Project Manager

    Anita has 8+ years’ professional experience in the social sector and education working primarily with disabled people. She has been involved in project management, network building and developing educational materials, with her main focus being social inclusion, personalised client work and providing training for young job seekers. She holds a masters degree in Law, International Relations and IMESS: History and Society.’

  • László Weninger

    Social Enterprise Development Manager

    Prior joining Badur, László worked in the private sector. He has extensive experience in creating and implementing business strategies and business plans, as well as controlling the finances of SMEs through the development and management of control systems. He is also a specialist in researching potential markets, company tax accounting, and tender processes.
